What would it take to get health justice for adults with CP?

Today (6 October), World CP Day, write to/email your MP to let them know how important this issue is to you, and to contribute to our national campaign bringing pressure on Ministers and policy-makers.

Below is some example text you can use and change as you see fit.

[As someone with cerebral palsy / As an ally of people with cerebral palsy], I am writing on World CP Day to draw your attention to a gross health injustice. Adults with CP see specialised healthcare disappear when they turn 18.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Cerebral Palsy has set out the need for regional specialised support services, clear care pathways, and annual patient reviews. The cost would be just 42p per day for each adult with CP.

I hope you will support the campaign of UP – the Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement, who have written to you today, and that you will take up this case with the relevant Ministers.
