What do you do?
I am an England Cerebral Palsy footballer and have competed internationally for over 9 years. I am also a Sports Coach for my local council and an Athlete Mentor.

What has been your greatest achievement?
My biggest achievement is winning the European Golden boot in 2018. As a team it is finishing 4th in the World Cup, we’re hoping to medal next tournament.

What was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge was being dropped from the Paralympic squad in 2016. I came back from that by training even harder and changing my diet to ensure I could show that not taking me was a mistake.

Who was your role-model growing up?
My biggest role model was my mum, who never let me quit and drilled in a strong sense of resilience and proving people wrong. In a sporting context being a big Man United & England fan I loved watching David Beckham.

What do you think would help more adults with CP achieve their ambitions?
I think more exposure of the fantastic opportunities out there. There isn’t enough limelight and easy accessible information available for people with disabilities to find something they’re passionate about.
