Midweek Matters remains a central part of our weekly schedule
Our weekly Wednesday sessions bring the community together to share experiences, hear from experts, and explore topics that matter to adults with cerebral palsy.
Over the past year, we’ve covered everything from employment and mental health to wheelchairs, oral care, and creativity – with sessions led by specialist clinicians, community members, and guest speakers. Whether it’s a relaxed community chat or a deeper dive into a health topic, there’s something for everyone.
Here are come comments from participants:
“It is a relief to talk to people in this space who are like me.”
“The more we push ourselves to be ‘normal’, the more pressure there is to pretend. Here I feel safe.”
“I’m still learning, and I am double your age.”
Each month follows a theme, with a mix of open conversations and guided discussions.
