Mindfulness is known to help reduce stress, support emotional regulation, and aid with pain management – all areas that can be particularly challenging for people living with cerebral palsy. These weekly sessions offer a chance to learn practical techniques and build a regular mindfulness practice. They’re open to, and suitable for everyone – whether you are experienced in mindfulness, or it is completely new to you.

Sessions are led by Lucy Woods, a mindfulness teacher with a Master’s from Bangor University’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice. After two decades in corporate training, Lucy qualified to teach mindfulness in 2018 and now runs Presence of Mind, offering courses, workshops and retreats for people experiencing anxiety, stress, pain, and low mood. She also hosts the podcast “It’s Not That Deep” and has been featured in national publications including the Daily Mirror and Daily Express. |
