Community Book Club
Our new Community Book Club brings people together through a shared love of reading – created in response to repeated requests from our community. Whether you’re an avid reader or just curious to try something new, all you need is enthusiasm and an open mind. No prior experience necessary.
We’ve partnered with Calibre Audio, a charity that has been providing audiobooks to people with print disabilities since 1974. Participants will receive a full year’s free access to their library of over 21,000 titles, including the books we choose to read together. Calibre Audio will also help facilitate the first few sessions to get us started.
The club meets on the last Monday of each month, 1.30–2.45pm.
Our first session on 26 January will be a chance to introduce ourselves, share favourite books, and choose what we’d like to read together. From February onwards, we’ll explore a range of genres and stories, meeting monthly to discuss that month’s book in an open, friendly conversation.
First session: Monday 26 January, 1.30pm
The Community Book Club is kindly supported by Forvis Mazars.
