We know that living with cerebral palsy as an adult can sometimes feel isolating, and that it isn’t always easy to find people who truly understand your experience. That’s why we’ve created a space that’s just for you.
Our community forum is a place where UP members can connect, share and support one another. Whether you want to talk about the challenges you face day to day, celebrate a win, get involved in our advocacy campaigns or simply have a conversation with people who get it, the forum is here for that.
What’s in the forum
The forum is organised into a few different areas:
- 📢 Advocacy campaigns – get involved in our campaigns and have your say on the issues that matter
- 🤝 Community support – a space to ask questions, share experiences and support each other
- 🎉 Achievements and celebrations – share your wins, big and small
- 💬 Debates and discussion – talk about the things that matter to you
- 📅 Events – find out what’s coming up and connect with others around UP events
- 📚 Resources – useful information, tools and links shared by the community
How to join
The forum is free and open to all UP members. To get started, visit the forum and create an account using your email address. Once your account has been approved, you’ll have full access to all areas.
A safe and welcoming space
We want the forum to be a place where everyone feels comfortable and respected. Please take a moment to read our community guidelines before posting, which are pinned at the top of the forum. If you have any concerns about content you see, you can flag it for moderation or get in touch with us at hello@upmovement.org.uk.
