What do you do?
I am currently on a gap year after completing my BA Honours degree in Creative Writing. I will be starting my Masters degree in the same subject in September.

What has been your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement would be graduating university or learning to do my own makeup.

What was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge is my speech impediment caused by my CP. It is so frustrating knowing what you want to say but can’t always get it out. I overcome it by using my phone to communicate and building trust with people to talk to them verbally.

Who was your role-model growing up?
There wasn’t many disabled role models when I was growing up but my family supported me in anything I wanted to do in my life. Disabled beauty influencers, like Jordan Bone and Tess Daly, inspired my love for makeup.

What do you think would help more adults with CP achieve their ambitions?
I think more coverage in the mainstream media would help inspire people with CP achieve their goals. You have to see it to believe it to achieve it.
